ABSTRACT
A series of 9 new compounds of N (phenyl/substituted phenyl/furyl-3- {4-methyl/ bromo/chloro} anilino propionyl hydrazones were prepared by the reaction between hydrazide and aldehydes in presence of ethanol and acetic acid. The nine compounds, synthesized were evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The compounds exhibited promising antibacterial and antifungal activity.
